best under rug

just bought a heavy weight turnout(MT combo) for my very little tb. he comes in at night in winter but my stables wont change rugs to stable rugs i def need an under rug for him as i know he looses a lot of condition during winter should i just use a stable rug? what are th best under rugs i just dont want to spend a bomb (over £50)

I found the mark todd rug liner to be brill, didn't move on two horses out last year 24/7under both their lightweights and middleweight rugs, and didn't rub. Not many people stock them may be an internet job. It is as good as my fal one which came with a turnout. Good cut and lightweight. Not sure on the price but they weren't ridiculous, its not well advertised, it should be as its a great liner. X

I've used both, and they are bloodily fab! The best thing I brought last winter.

ESP as I used them under every rug (I change turnouts and stables) but leave on the liners so that it's lovely and warm and horse doesn't need to warm up it's rug.
