Hi, I have a twenty year old Irish sports horse, 16.2hh. I have him on Allen & Page Calm and Condition which comes in pellet form and is soaked and Spillers high fibre nuts. I'm looking for a non/very low mollassed balancer for the coming winter. He comes in every night with plenty of turn out and weather permitting we get out for a potter three times a week.
Mollasses is a no-no for Zig plus he has a troubling gap between two teeth and his dentist says no chaff.
Any bright ideas? Thanks

My oldie can't eat chaff, so he gets soaked hay cobs, micronised linseed and equimins advanced complete pellets (he still copes with the pellets) and a couple of other powders, including magnesium as we have a possibly metabolic query these days and the equimins is a bit low in it.

My other options would be forageplus/pro_earth/equivita/equinaturals as good no iron balancers.

If he was a poor doer he would have more linseed and/or copra if he would eat it (he's very fussy for a native!)
