Which is the best veteran insurance which covers sickness and disease as well as accident and emergency .
SEIB , who I am insured with and told be i am not covered for sickness ( gr8) now stuck with a hefty bill.:(

KBIS seem to do a better cover and does inc some sickness.

THo lami will have to be excluded now .
 
I think it is quite common to not include internal illness including colic - I will be interested to see the response you get as I am also on the hunt att he moment to change for my veteran
 
I am with carriagehouse. They have recently changed their veteran policy, so you are now covered for pretty much anything (external and accidental injury as well as sickness/colic/laminitis etc) except degenerative diseases, until the age of 23 I think. It was previously 19.

I had to claim when Fox broke a leg 3 years ago, and they were very quick, helpful and understanding. I havent claimed anything since, but would recommend them from that.
 
well she is 23 so thats no use

well we just worked out with my horse policies mounting up to over 1000 a year for 3 horses

i would be better off opening another account and have all my direct debits for insurance going in there and when the time comes that i need to pay a large bill the money is there.

By the time you find out they wont cover you for this that and the other and pay excess you might as well do this. so I am seriously thinking of it.


When i think of the few times i have made claims i could have paid the bills and had money in my pocket .
