Need to buy a new waterproof jacket for rainy days. I've got a really good one I wear when its totally pissing down but I want a lightweight(ish) one to wear most mornings. It needs to be waterproof, have a high collar that does up under the chin to keep my neck warm and dry, long enough sleeves and a pocket to keep phone in and keep it dry.

Any ideas?

I've got a Joules coat, it has a removable inner so can either be really warm and snug, or just the waterproof outer. It's my torrential rain coat and has never once leaked in the 2 years I've had it, and it washes well too

This is mine (just in a different colour as it's older!)

I swear by my Musto jacket and have been wearing it continually throughout the torrential rain we've been having. It has a zip out lining so it's light enough to wear in the summer. It's a 100% waterproof and not just showerproof, the collar zips right up to my nose! LOL! and comes with a fleece lining around it which is nice and cosy, and there are pockets a -go-go on it!

Have a look at http://www.tacksales.co.uk/product/musto-combination-jacket.html

I have a Joules one I really like....can't remember the name of it nor find it on their website, but it was advertised recently in either Horse or H&H magazine - it has a lovely quilted bit around the back of your neck and I find it's lovely and lightweight but still really good at keeping me dry.

Do you have a Scats near to you?

I bought a LW Toggi jacket in there at the weekend, but they also had several other lightweights, Horsewear, Caldene and Puffa.....I was spoilt for choice!

Musto Snug and Musto Combination or the Joules Eventer are three I swear by

Not one of them has leaked in all the years I've had them.
