I am looking for a coloured part bred Arab stallion around 15hh to put to my welsh mare and that is reasonably local to Suffolk. I have looked on the CHAPS and online stallion directory where else can I look?

Try google search on homozygous pintabian stallion.
That brings up a few UK based stallions.
If you want to guarantee colour you will have to use homozygous or you are on a 50:50 chance of colour.

You will get a much wider choice (and generally better quality) if you look at coloured warmblood stallions.
Make sure it is a graded stallion or the foal won't be eligible for the Futurity evaluations.

There are some absolutely top quality pintabian and coloured PBA's with other coloured/pinto genes out there besides tobiano. However the OP will be restricted in their choice by wanting a local stallion. I would suggest that they consider AI as it will really open up their options, especially if they are willing to import semen.

Having said that, Fames Dakota is a nice UK based stallion.

Sorry, I forgot to add that most of the pintabians I know about have been advertised in, or I've read about them in 'The Arabian Magazine' or 'The Arab Horse Society News.'
