she will develop her muscle/topline by doing lots of gradually built up work. You need to make her really walk out on a ride and keep her long and low. Gradually build up the amount of trot work you ask of her over some weeks.I will show you how I mean lol

Forgot to add lots of transitions in your schooling work. Not just walk, trot, canter transitions but transitions within the pace. Also shoulder in,leg yielding and spiralling as well as basic circles will all help her to use herself properly.

it all depends on how many foals she has had before and how far apart, bit like us really lol.I am sure she will definitely develop some top line with the right type of work and regular exercise and no reason why she shouldn't look just like she used to before babies.

My 17yr old mare has bred 3 foals and you would never know to look at her we got her fit gradually then progressed to working in an outline and she now has a couple of sessions a week on the pessoa .

Once she is has had her fitness work lots of cantering will help with her belly, we have a pony who has a very large tummy!! and have found that plenty of canter work is the best thing. Good luck x

please excuse the very silly & childish remark which is about to follow....

feed her "topline cubes"

(runs away giggling...)

Sorry, anyway - mirror what everyone else has said, I'd add in some pole work to get her to lower her head and flex her back, hence lifting and tucking the abs and strengthening her neck...
