My horse is being moved next week, to a much cheaper place with more land and turnout. She is currently stabled at night, and out onto very sparse dry grazing from 9am til 4pm. She will be moving into a much bigger field that still has some grass, and all the others are still out 24/7, probably until mid october.
Would it be better to still bring her in at night as I'm wondering if it will be too much of a shock to her system to suddenly be getting 24hr grass, even though I risk her getting really wound up and doing herself some damage being in on her own. (Can't see the fields from the stables as it's an enclosed barn) I also don't want to get there and demand that someone else brings their horse in just to keep her company!

Oh, definatley leave out 24/7. As you say - it's much better than her winding herself up over night. And also gives her ample chance to settle with her new companions, without having to go through the whole thing again every morning.
