Got brand new leather boots a couple of weeks ago and everytime I wear them I get blisters, which are incredibly painfull meaning I cant ride for a number of days after. Is there anything I can use to soften them?

Thanks!

Nick.

I had a pair like that once. Just oiled mine around the tight areas and wore them around the house whenever I could, just with a pair of kingsland socks and they wore in quite quickly!

I don't think the old army trick of weeing in them and leaving them overnight will make you very popular at home, so I too would advise wearing them as much as possible around the house. Also, are they too big for you? Mine were too big and I used to have to wear two pairs of cotton socks to stop them rubbing. I have in the past used dubbin, a soft cloth and a mallet to 'tenderise' leather boots.

Wear them whenver possible - my friend wore hers at her desk at work!!!

I need three pairs of socks with mine.
