Hi all, I have looked back on the forum but would still be grateful for advice on the best way to transport tack in an Ifor Williams 505 trailer? We are taking 2 horses away for a week's holiday at the seaside along with the dog and three teenagers and even with two cars there is a vast list of stuff to take. (inc bikes so they can cycle to the livery yard from the cottage?!) I've heard mixed reports about Ifor Williams Tack Box but they don't look to have a lot of space in them and they seem pretty big and bulky. There are some posts on the forum from years past from people who have used some kind of tack trolley but as far as I can see they all link to trolleys that are no longer stocked by places like Robinsons. I would be really grateful for any advice if people have come up with another solution that works. Thanks :-)

We had a tack box for the 505 but sold it. They are too small for most adult / horse saddles. They work better for pony size saddles.

For PC camp we bungee in the wheelbarrow, feed bins and everything else to the empty side (only taking one at a time). A you have two could you bungee in a saddle pod to the nose? You'd have to be sure it was 100% secure. You don't want a saddle slipping down between the horses!
