I just left Barons.

He developed it the summer before last, it was hard when I noticed it. I kept him in for a few days and hosed it but he wasnt lame so I put him back out and worked him again.

I did not do any roadwork of jumping for a month or so but then he was worked as before.

His was quite large but he was sound. It compleatly dissapeared within 6 months with no treatment at all.

A few people I know have used Splitex with no significant results.

Is there heat/lameness etc? If not, leave it and continue with normal, although a couple of hosing sessions a day will help. If it has heat/swelling/lameness, hosing twice a day, bute and box rest until heat and swelling has gone down, then light work until it is no longer tender to touch.
