Best website/books for bringing on a youngster

It looks like I have found myself a very nice youngster, and I am sooooo excited!

When the time comes a friend will be backing for me, but what can I do with him in the meantime?

He has been bitted already (2 years old) but I want to read up as much as possible about making him into a well rounded boy.

Books are great sources of info...but they are useless if your horse hasn't read the same book
