Best winter coat?

I need a new winter coat but I really, really feel the cold so it would need to be proper warm and cover my bum. Tight wrists and high necks are good too. It also needs to be waterproof or as near as dammit.

What recommendations can you give?

I love my Musto Suffolk and the new version is padded. It is expensive (very) but I've had mine years.

I love Mountain Horse, have a couple of them as I am a really cold person. Or you could try some were like Mountain Ware, they do fantastic coats no horse named so alot cheper and just as good

I bought a Caldene coat at Burghley this year which is just amazing, I adore it. Tried to find it on the website for you and can't :-/ But it seriously is the best winter coat I've ever had.

Has anyone bought one of the cheap down filled supposed waterproof jackets from China on Ebay. Looks like you can get one for about £50 inc postage!
