Best winter jods?

Scotland is FREEZING just now literally! I want some jods/breeches that keep you toasty instead of having to wear trackies over the top! Any recommendations and pref ones that dont make you look like a pork pie!

I have the Musto ones which I got a few years ago as a present - they are expensive (£90) but the fleece inside is lovely and warm and they are nice and stretchy (waist is kind of elasticated so no buttons to do up or anything) they have lasted me around, i don't know, 2 1/2 / 3 years lovely jodphurs

layer of thermal leggings underneath keeps me really warm and not at all bulky,

Not actually a single pair of jods but the warmest I've ever been in the winter!

Kerrits, bought a pair 3 weeks ago and I have not had them off. Seriously worth the money!

I have some cord ones which are cosy - think they are Harry hall.

I have the Townend ones. Not totally waterproof, but when you do get wet you don't get cold and the fleece lining is v warm.

Re the kerrits, Did you order them from the US or do they have uk stockists? Also how do they come up size wise. I normally take a 26" in uk makes and am a size 8 in clothes, would I be a small?

Three lows stock some Kerrits ones but don't have the wind pro version - they say you can always ask them though but they have this version

And yes small is waist 25-27 so that should be fine

the Kerrits Sit Tight Supremes are awesome, I am sitting here in a pair. I also have the Pikeur winter weight (not as warm, and not water repellent unfortunately, but very smart) and the Irideon (not quite as warm, and definitely not as sticky). The Kerrits by choice now, always.
