Can be anything at all from fantastic friendly staff to bad toilets n muck heap problems...just let it all out!... if you don't mind sharing that is, but your only allowed one answer each guys and see if we get a majority of same things....if so come on YO's take a look and see how you can improve your yards.

I love it where my horse is. It is a big big yard but the people are lovely it is so laid back! so thats probably the best bit.

Worst bit... hmmmm there really isn't anything... ownersw sometimes have funny ways of doing things but i guess they might say the same about me...

Best thing... I can't choose one thing - amazing hacking, lovely people, safe individual turn out, huge stables, not overly expensive, top level care, great school... I could go on.
Worst bit... It's rather a long way from home! 25mins each way and I have to battle the M25 but it's worth it.

private now but previous yard:

best - (most of the) people
worst - the quality of the school surface

This is a hard one for me. Best thing is nobody interferes with what each other does with their horses but are there if you need help/advice. Worst thing is we have no rules whatsoever. YO was a farmer, he now builds arena's and is never there so couldn't care less what happens with all of us! Oh and we don't have a toilet and our arena is absolutley rubbish!

best: Gerdi Warner and Water Farm and her staff, who really strive to make sure you get the best help for both you and your horse

Worst: At moment I live 40 miles away... each way!!!!

Well I might as well give her a plug!!!

Best - turn out, 24/7 in the summer, every day in the winter in a big herd, in large well maintained fields. It's what keeps my horse happy so that's what matters most to me.

Worst - no proper school. We have a nicely fenced off area that sort of flat but gets very slippery in the winter, although on the plus side it gets my horse used to being ridden on undulating ground in all weathers, which came in useful Sunday when jumping in the rain on grass with a layer of freshly cut stuff still down!

best thing-horses happy and safe

(plenty of to,p+r fencing,big matted stables,water/electric,god hacking,nice school)

worst thing-having no-one to hack out with really.

only me and YO and often not down at same time-yards down the lane but its a bit of a mission to organise!

best; small private yard me and mate can do as we want really

worst: water buckets in field empty when we come down couple times my neddy has been dehydrated

Best: Nice school, nice stables, lovely people and YO very laid back
Worst: Can get rather muddy in the winter, sometimes YO a bit TOO laid back - stuff can occasionally take a while to get done. Oh, and hacking not brilliant but school kinda makes up for that!

Best: good facilities plus is a competition venue so lots of chance to take part in SJ even if you don't have transport

Worst: no proper winter turnout - and ONE of the other liveries who is a total nightmare! But then you have to have one!

Best: great turnout, big new stables with built in storage, nobody interferes with each other, 5 mins from my house, not too many or too few horses, secure fencing and my horse loves it.
Worst: theres a mouse in my storage area, thats about it!

Best - Everything

Worst - If I was being seriously fussy, I would say the chickens stalk you, but that is it!!!

Best thing...
There's just six of us, the seven horses have the run of 38 acres, its beautiful and so peaceful. We can do what we we want we want we have no one to answer to and no stupid rules to follow.

Worst thing...
No menage, running water or electric. But I'd sacrifice all this for being happy and seeing my horses enjoy the space

Best Thing: Wonderful location, fantastic friends and their gorgeous neddies and the fact that my horse graces is with his presence!

Worst Thing: The stupid opinionated cow bag that doesn't know how to look after her horse, ruins all that she's had, has a big mouth and sharp tongue and just can't be told! Oh and her melodramatic mother!!!!
