i just want to say that i love my yard, there are 6 owners on my yard who are absolutely wonderful. i had spinal surgery a few weeks ago. they visited me at hospital and at home and have looked after my 2 horses sooo well. because of the weather they have had to come in at night, so they have put up a rota for mucking out, doing feeds etc. one of them has been picking me up a couple of times a week so i can go and see my neds and still be part of the chat etc.
when stuff like that happens, you really find out who your friends are. they tease that when i am well, i will have all their mucking out to do too, well i think they are teasing.

i am going to have them all down for dinner soon to say thanks for all they have done. i am really so grateful to them, i would have been in a real pickle without them. i didn't even ask them to do it, they just did it with no notice at all as it was emergency surgery.
nice that there are such wonderful people in the world, all horsey and on the same yard

but there is nothing i can do. i am managing to get up a couple of times a week to see them, it was so emotional the first time as i couldn't go for the first couple of weeks after surgery and i missed them so much.
can't wait to get back to normal.
things like this certainly show you who your friends are.
