As you know I am trying really hard to find a first horse. I just came across this advert, size, age, price all perfect...

But.... Apparently the horse comes across as 'a little nervous' and I know I shouldn't laugh, but based on the photos - I'm not sure they could get close enough to take her rug off and get a decent photo.

Probably not for me

Don't worry, I'm not considering her - I just found it rather funny.

I think you have all taught me how to look for things in the advert - and what needs to be avoided.

Looks like the most ignorant owners ever ... I would go to see her just to see if I could rescue her from them!!

Hey, and at that price you could afford to have lots of help reschooling.

We have found she seems to have a fettish for oak trees so she will need to be somewhere where she doesnt have access to them.

Oh lordy...

If she's the "right" price for you then what I'd advise is you're not going to get a very good first horse for only £1k!! Things in that price generally need a lot of work

Hi MM, you may have missed some previous posts by me. I am looking for my first horse and my idea budget would be £2k, but I have come to realise that if I want something decent will probably have to stretch a wee bit further £4k ish.

I thought this advert was funny, I am not considering this horse - even though a few peeps above were making me think 'maybe'

She's near you so I'd go and have a look, who knows, the owner obviously isn't trying to polish a t*rd so she could be a genuine bargain.

Not heard that expression before ROFL
