By school I mean the kennels at work (College so the dogs are used in lessons)

I was really worried that she wouldn't adjust and would howl all day :o but she was a star :)

I popped in on my lunchtime and the dogs were all having a play (supervised), B stuck to me like glue and was quite scared around some of the huge bouncy dogs but seemed to have paired off with the little puppy they have in :) The staff seem fantastic, there is a smaller 'playtime' group that she can go in untill she finds her feet.

She was used in two 'training' lessons and two 'walking' lessons (i.e taken for 2 little walks) and apparently she slotted right in like a pro. One of the lecturers sent me a photo of her sat on a chair in the classroom.... all the other dogs are sat on the floor nicely.

I am so relieved :) Being able to take her to work all day means she has far less crate time, more socialisation and I'm not stressing about getting stuck in traffic to get back to her.

Tomorrow she is sharing a kennel with 2 lovely gentle retrievers so hopefully that will boost her confidence a bit.

Sorry.... just read this back and its such a ramble! Pointless post really but I am just so happy with how my little dog got on today :D

Yaaaaaaayy! There ya go! :D See, the little Princess can do it! Bet you're chuffed to pieces! ;):D

Bear's well socialised now. He has our neighbour's GSD, Spike, round to play at least twice a week. Spike comes to us as neighbour's garden isn't really suitable for two hooning loonies, but only for about 15 mins at a time. Although Spike is six months younger than Bear, he's huuuuuuuuge and tends to throw his weight about a bit, so Bear gets to realise he's not always top dog, so to speak.

And then there's Xenia, other neighbours JRT pup. She's here every day, sometimes two or three times a day. She's small enough to get through the fence or under the gate, but Bear's too big for all that! I finally got my bum in gear and found my camera the other day, so I'll put up some pics of the Two Terrors sometime.

And, no, not a pointless post at all! Good to hear how things are progressing with Princess B! Go get 'em, girlie! :D
