A plea to all riders when out hacking!

Today we encountered a giant cow when out hacking. :(

It popped up on the hedge line of the road running perpendicular to the one we were on.

It caused on the spot bunny hopping, snorting, head tossing, more snorting, teeth grinding, jogging, more bunny hopping, snort, snort, snort, and a head so high a giraffe would be jealous!!

Please, please, please keep your eye out for the giant cow, it is very scary!!

:D :D :D

PS: the trolls were lurking in the drains today too!

I met a girl out hunting last Tues, who's horse was terrified of the sky tv vans. The ones with the animals on the side like the gorilla and lion etc.
It's not something I ever thought about.

Brilliant :D :D

I have a cow phobic cob who resmbles one herself

We have been threatening to paint some white on her so she looks like a cow for our next dressage outing, perhaps this is what has caused the fear!? :D

We pass these with no issues, but could understand a horse having a melt down with a giant gorilla driving at you!

You are just milking this

:D:D:p

I didn't really mind her concern, but she wouldn't mooove despite me telling her it was ok, it went in one ear and straight out the udder! And I could have understood if she were a Friesian, not a Belgian WB. :D :D
