BHS 1 exam

Hi all!

I’m taking my stage one next week in dubai, and there seems to be conflicting info on tacking up

As I understand the BHS way
Make sure you tie up pick and groom etc etc - I’ve got that bit .....also make sure you remove head Collar for bridle / undo QR for bridle etc. And never walk behind (unclip and walk round front) but next what I know is the following

With martingale
Boots
Martingale
Bridle
Saddle

Without martingale
Boots
Bridle
Saddle

Can some one correct me if I’m wrong?

That sound correct, it makes sense to put boots, if they are used, on first and if you have a martingale then it has to go on before anything else, remember to get the reins through without them getting twisted, best of luck.
