Hi i was wondering if anyone knows of a good centre to take my stage 2 riding exam. i have passed my care but not been successful in my stage 2 riding. I have took the exam three times and each time i have failed just by having one X to many, arghhhh, its so fustrating. any ideas would be really appreciated as i really want to pass it. I have practiced that much and spent that much money that my instructor said that there is nothing else that i can do other than keep trying different centres. Any centres in or near to Manchester would be great. Thank you in advance.

I think you also need to identify the problem... is it always different things you fail on, or similar things? Is it having to ride a strange horse, or just exam nerves? Perhaps then you will see a way to combat the "problem" and pass!

Bit like being able to drive, but not pass a test when an examiner is sitting next to you!

Have you tried having some lessons with a different instructor who is qualified to a suitable level to teach to this standard? Sometimes a different person can pick up problems that your usuall instructor misses, or different horses can highlight problems that have not been apparent before. It particularly might help to have some lessons at the place where you sit the test so that you know a bit about the horses there before the test.
