Hi
I am having a few problems completing my portfolio - I have taught 4 riders 4 lessons each
I have therefore done:
1 rider registration Form for each rider (appendix 1)
1 Coaching Participant Record for each rider (appendix 2)
1 outline linked coaching sessions plan for each rider (appendix 3)
1 horse suitability profile for each rider (appendix 5)

I am unsure now how to fill in the written coaching lesson plan (appendix 4), the risk assesment form (appendix 6) and the evaluation of coaching sessions (apendix 7)
Any help would be so greatly recieved
Thank you

ap 4 - u need to split your lesson up into sections and wirte how long it will take the aim and the content and how you know if it was successfull.
6 - evaluate and write down all the risks eg mounting what can happening, what can happen when riding? ect kicked
7 - u need to get feedback from the people you taught, people watching the lesson and a self evaluation

Thank you for the reply,
for ap 4 do i need to split each lesson up so i would end up with 16 pages (4 for each rider, with 4 riders)
and do i need to do risk assesment for each lessons or each rider or a general one?
and finally ap 7 - is this for each lesson or each rider?
thanks so much

4 u split the lessons up so u have 1 for each lesson not the rider

risk assessement each lessons not rider
7 again lesson
where abouts are you? have you organised an assesor?

okay i did riders seperatly i hope that was right?
thanks for your help
i am in wiltshire - ni havnt, do you know any around here?

so have you taught four private lessons four times? it should be okay you'll just have to do the work four times! best thing to do is ring one of the assessors and have a chat with them!

class lesson of four, four consecuted lessons with the aim of being able to jump a course on grass by the end of the four lessons, i started doing private got told to do a group so it was easier.
when you said it off the bhs take ages to get it back so dont panic!
good luck
