BHS exam venues in Scotland?

Hi all,

As above - does anyone have any experience of the various examination venues in Scotland, or any thoughts on the best place to go for the Stage 1 exam? I've not had any formal exam prep but was hoping to get one or two sessions at one of the centres before I take the plunge.

I think I've seen the SNEC and Scottish Equi Complex advertised before, but have never seen either of them myself. Any thoughts on strictness/ horse quality/ funny quirks of examiners/ horses/ venues?

snec is alright personally wouldnt be my first choice, for your stage one your fine horse wise, but they are ridden all year round by students of the college, and arent always the best suitable for people doing their stage one depending on your confidence as they have a range of horses from 12.3 to 18hh, personally i would choose the scottish equi complex at lanark racecourse over snec but thats just my opinion as they have better horses who are more suited to their job
