When you volunteer for a charity you have to work within its remit that’s just the deal , suited me with the Bhs for a long while then it did not so I stopped volunteering.
If your only issue is a letter they printed that shows a volunteer in a bad light Personally I think you are overreacting but they don’t need to answer you .
I think it would be a bad thing if by volunteering for a charity you could prevent any criticism of you in any format that that charity had control over , neither do I see why they should discuss with it you unless it’s direstly part of the work you do for them .
A charity can refuse the help of a volunteer who they think is not working In their best interests at any point Problems between county type committees and head offices of charities and employed staff of charities are extremely common .
