BHS Legal Advice service - help please!

Quick question! Just wanted to know if the BHS would supply legal advice to someone who isn't under their membership.
Want to seek legal action regarding an issue but would prefer equine based knowledge.

Have you tried your insurance company, assuming you have one that is. They have free legal advice. I wouldn't of thought you could get it from the BHS if your are not a member.

I wouldn't think so, they ask for your membership no before they will speak to you! The twice I have called them I was just told to contact a solicitor rather than being given any advice.

Okidoke! Thanks guys, thought it was worth an ask. I'll ring my insurer tomorrow and see if they provide it. BHS was the first place I thought of.

Depending on the situation it could be cheaper to buy the membership if it could be an ongoing thing.

The Law Society should also have a list of specialists, though I did once have to remind the girl on the phone of that fact!

Rather than phone the law society the legal 500 can be a good place to look. Or just google. Or post a legal query on here there are a few lawyers on hho...

I rang up a week and half ago, never asked for my membership number and I thought it was just an excuse to tout for business from the solicters they use, I was not impressed.
