I've got the exam on Su day..

But I'm a bit confused. I got in a muddle and wasn't sure if they knew I was meant to be using a horse from the centre so rang on Wed. That was fine, they did know, but then they asked if i had a copy of the simulated road test 'route'. I said no so they emailed a map and a bullet list of points (I.e. 1 start: Signal to join the traffic') BUT the map doesn't really make sense as it seems to follow a dotted line but the numbers don't follow each other.

Basically, do i need to memorise this or will it be quite obvious when i get there which direction I'm meant to be going in and whether it's a flared junction, whether you'e turning onto a minor or major road, where to trot ect?

Also which parts of the highway code are most important for me to revise over? I do have a good understanding of it as am a driver but should brush up a bit as will kick myself if i fail.

I didnt get a route when I did it, we just went onto near by road for about ten mins and followed.what they said to do beforehand, the watched from the drive way, did most ina field.was aloooooooong time ago tho.

when i did mine which was a few years ago you do the theory then go into the paddock and do a road route marked on the floor with roundabouts, junctions, piles of stuff, cyclists etc then if you pass that then you can go out on the road for about 2 miles junctions, cars, etc etc.

There will be an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the simulated route on the day.

Stopping distances, road signs, driver/police signals, road markings, how to ride round roundabouts are frequent questions but almost anything can be covered

Ah thanks that's great. Feel very relieved now! I thought you just looked at it on the day so was a bit confused.

Thanks
