BHS stage 3!

Ive just about to book my stage 3, care for july and riding for september! i was just wondering out of the whole exam what the most difficult bit is? the xc scarys me as i would nevr have jumped these horses before! Also whats the best places to take them?

make sure you ride as many horses as you can before then, i did mine at newton hall i think it was called nr ipswich if thts anywhere nr you, such a friendly yard which removed the stress of it all and all the horses presented were well capable of what was expected of them.

make sure you really know your stuff for all the theory. and be a master at lungeing. i have seen someone pass that should have failed and someone fail that should have passed, they took the exam 2 weeks later and passed. good luck!

There's videos of BHS Stage 3 days, which you could watch to get a better idea (and they have the ubiquitous JDM in them too as a bonus).
You could also buy the Examiner's Handbook....or is that the Examiners' Handbook...who knows? Anyway, it has exemplar questions that they'll ask you in Stage 3.
