BHS stage one

Hi there,
I am hoping to start my BHS stage one soon and have been looking around at books which might help me to prepare. I have also looked at the Stage one study pack which the BHS sell and I was wondering if anyone had used this to help with their stage one and did they find it helpful?

Do you have any previous horsey experience? If so I don't think you need to worry, from what I remember of stage 1 (which was a loooooooong time ago) it's very very basic.

The BHS stage guides are excellent and well worth the money. Much as the Stage one is straightforward, you need to know your stuff in a BHS way. Best of luck!

It is basic but the study pack can help

It's worth getting even if you have been assessed at a much higher standard, just because with bhs exams, you have to do it the bhs way.

Found the Hazel Reed book to be extremely helpful and the BHS DVD.
