BHS Stages

I know you can move up the stages of the care side without doing the riding.
Can you do your riding stages without the care? I want to do my riding stages, 1 and 2 and aiming for 3, however I don't want to do the care side, as I already have a NVQ is horse care (level 2 and working on level 3 now) and i've already got a National Diploma is Horse Management.

Can you do this?

Yup.

ETS not sure about NVQ conversion but you'd need to Care stage 3 to qualify as an AI and further.

No worries. If you go onto http://www.bhs.org.uk/Training_and_Qualifications/BHS_Examinations_and_Qualifications.aspx and click Stage 2 or Stage 3 on the left, each opens a menu underneath - there are details of how you can make direct entries to that level / convert other qualifications like NVQs on there.
