I'm still in one piece and its been 8 weeks since i got the ok to ride. I've been walking around the arena for 6 weeks as we only had front shoes on. Had a couple of paddy's over the speed we were going at, and a couple of "well sat moments", then got farrier out to shoe the back feet. It all went horribly wrong. Got one back shoe on, then Affy decided the farrier looked like the vet. Then farrier went off for an operation, so several phone calls to new farriers "can you come out and put a back shoe on under sedation", "NO!". So I eventually found a really good one that would, and to cut a long story short she now has a full set of new shoes (we have lost one this week, but its now back on). she's moving much better, and I had a fab hack out last Saturday. Ears pricked, enthusiastic, walking at mach 10, and again on Sunday. I cant wait to take her out again tommorow. Now looking forward to the summer!
