Ok so yesterday I took the ponio to a big show to see how she behaved and I am pleased to announce she was an absolute angel
the only thing that ruined it for me was that our last class started an hour and a half late and then when we finally did get into the ring, we were made to wait a further 25 minutes whilst a certain international riders team went off to find hats with harnesses. Now I know the organisation whose qualifier it was does not insist on wearing hats with 3 point harnesses, but the riding club that was holding the show did, and it clearly stated that anyone found not to be wearing a hat meeting this standard would be instantly disqualified. But because of who these riders were riding for the judge not only turned a blind eye but also made the rest of us wait whilst they faffed about. It really made me mad to see how incredibly biased judges can be.
