Bichon Friese Update - for the nice folks

To all you kind and helpful people, a quick update

D and I took the Little White Lad to his new home today. A long drive, the LWL was a star and seemed to enjoy the journey . New family very knowledgeable, very lovely and very kind. LWL had a moment of confusion as D and I were leaving, but having seen the pictures that the new people kind text over, he soon got over it .

I'm sure LWL has a home for life now, which is grand. My sis is quietly desolate, but dealing with it. The new peeps have said she can go visit and they will send regular updates, which is lovely .

New peeps have promised that should they not be able to keep LWL for any reason, he comes back to me; we'll squeeze him in somewhere.

So thank you for the kind words and thoughts and offers of help

Thats lovely, We have had Bichon's for years and will never have anything else, Had i known you had one to re home I would of got in touch as mum is looing fr another to keep her company

Good news, I am sure he will soon settle down. Hard as it is I would suggest your sister doesn't visit too soon, it will only confuse him.

Thank you She won't go for some time, to let him settle and for her to fade from his mind. We won't go either. We tried really hard whilst he was with us not to let him (or us!) get too attached.

His new people looked so happy and contented with him. I had a whole list of What if!, but they passed each one.

Lovely to hear hes settled Ive had regular up dates too. Looking forward to meeting him for walk on beach next week .Saw Nicky trundling off this morning one dog on each arm for her first walk.
