Excellent news, would be sad to loose as a venue in the south west, take it you're the 9cheese we're familiar with?!

indeed excellent news! trying to decide whether to do Easter or not at the moment. Away the weekend before and the week after but may go up for a day as I can't miss Bicton now can I

Er K - you? miss bicton? I'm not sure the showground will even function without you being there?!!! C'mon, Fleur will love it. Btw, how's she been going lately - know you mentioned being at Exeter EC the other day, how did it go?

I know exactly can't miss Bicton
Fleur being good took her to Exeter did two clear rounds then stupid one down in Blue Chip Novice qual. No stupid napping though. Come to the conclusion it was the ground she was objecting to last summer as was very hard by point she threw hissy fit. Was going to go out Sunday as well but one of Sarah's doggies had to be PTS
Think with Bicton as the weather at Easter is so unpredictable and to keep her on my side will just do a day or two but driving up each day rather than staying over.
Also got a HT to go to at Bicton on 11th March going to give this XC lark another go
she can trip round the 70cm then pop round the 90cm if all goes well hee hee

I have always been a closet eventer just haven't had anything to event in a few years!
when in Jersey did 3ft11 portable courses before everyone wimped out and the courses got dropped to 3f3 ha ha if can persuade her to stay forward and leave the rest which I think I got a fair chance of now I will definetly consider doing an intro or two and even a pre novice this year! long way to go till then though
And yeah want to get our DCs now, other than her hissy fits last summer and fortnight ago she done nothing this qualifying year so still got to get all 4 but if she behaves shouldn't take long and want the Discovery ones as well as she more than capable just don't want her getting bored or p*ssed off again!!!

Opinions are like bum holes, everyone has one.
I did the HT at Bicton last year everything about it was appalling and I certainly will not be running either of my horses there this year. The ground was appalling, the course was badly designed with a dreadful timed section over twisty knockdown fences and to top it off it was freezing. But I did get to meet HenryHorn and CCJ so that was about the only good thing.

Interesting to hear. I'm not planning on entering until the day so will walk it day before and see what I think. If its as bad as that I won't run as I want it to be encouraging for her not rather than put her off. There is one at Cuckoos nest a week or so after. they are normally better i'm told!?

Cuckoo's nest is a nice straightforward course imo. I'm fence judging this year so please PM if you go so I can look out for you!

I'm so excited about Bicton.... thought I was going to have to resort to going to Wales and West!!!!!
