BIG BALE BUDDY - Does it work?

I have just seen the link to these on the first page of the winter survival thread above. They look ok in the picture, but it shows a nice dry field, and a full bale of hay.

Has anyone got one of these? What happens in a wet muddy field? Also what does it look like when there is say 1/3 of a bale left? Surely it goes all baggy and gets trodden on?

Ooh yes I was wondering the same thing, I saw the ad and thought they look like a good investment if they work. Cos if you just drop a big bale in the field half of it gets trodden into the ground.

Thanks for the link Angua2.

I just think if it was all wet and muddy getting it on the bale would be messy. It might work well under cover in a barn or big field shelter...
