Big bale haylage in Norfolk

Someone was posting on here not so long ago about big bale haylage in Norfolk - my lovley OH has found a supplier for me just SW of Norwich. I have a large rectangle bale - not sure what weight but its about 41/2 foot long, abd about 3ft high for £20. Have cracked it open and it looks lovely stuff. He does free delivery for 6 or more and will come and replace/collect any duffs. PM me if you want the details

That should read 4 1/2 ft, not 41 ft - lol, that would last a while!

I know this is a daft question but is there a time limit on feeding once the bag is opened? I have only fed Hay but have been thinking about haylage, But im not sure if I would be better off with Sml or Big bales?

In the winter I would give it 3 weeks max, in the summer it can be as quickly as a few days. I have 4 to feed so its noit realy an issue, if you only have one horse big bales are not realy an option.
