This year so far hasnt been great for me. My nan died suddenly which I found very hard as she was like a 2nd mum. My mum has got cancer and she seemed to be beating it but she has taken a turn for the worse and as we feared it has come back and she has been given only a few weeks to live. She is 57.
She is coming to stay with me in a couple of weeks for a break for my sister.
My husband has also taken decision out of my hands and told me to decide which horse I want to keep as having 2 and a pony and competing isnt possible anymore. I have already made plan to move yards to somewhere nearer but wont be for a few weeks as waiting for 1 stable to come free. So I have decided to sell my mare who I have had for 3 years this after much thought and keep my youngster.

So today im feeling very low and to top it all the weather is cold and depressing.

Thanks for reading needed to tell someone

poor you, it will soon be sunny and warm and you will be out enjoying it again. big hugs its a shxxty time of year!

Life is so damn hard sometimes and it all comes at once, just when you think you are getting your head above the water something comes along and hammers you back down.

I am sorry you are going through a terrible time and lets hope your mare finds a lovely home soon.

Good luck to you.

You poor thing. What a lot to have to deal with all at once. Sending you lots of good vibes and hope things pick up for you very soon. Moving to a closer yard should help to reduce the pressure in at least one area of your life.

(((big hugs))) I cannt begin to understand what you must be going through, but I hope things take a turn for the better soon. Hope you manage to find the mare a happy home. x

I feel for you. Life is a real arse at times.
Just wondered, WRT the horses if you could loan one out?
I'm sending you as many hugs as I've got ((((((Hugs))))))x

Have you got the support of a local hospice? We recently lost my father in law to cancer and the support of the hospice was invaluable. He went into the hospice as he couldn't be cared for at home but even if you didn't need this there are carers who will come and support you in your home. They are really valuable as a source of support and comfort and can take alot of the worry away.

PM me if you need to

Becky

HAve thought about putting her on loan. Im not sure whether to or not I suppose it could be an option. So many bad stories though. She is sucha sweet mare she would make a perfect first horse for someone as she is so good and very capable bsja etc etc and was supposed to be dong first season BE (had bad start but not her usual performance) She is the sort of horse that can be whatever you want. from happy hack up!

I just dont know what to do about anything really. OH telling me was good as I have kept putting things off but he also pointed out that I might be to ing and fro ing as mums in shropshire and im in Sussex

I'm not surprised you needed to share. Life can be hard sometimes and yours sounds very hard at present.
Amazingly good times do come again, so try to remember that when all feels bleak.
Kind regards
Gill
