Checked horse last night at about 10 and both front legs were filled. Leg he did a tendon on about 3 years ago was more filled. Both legs were fine when I brought him in last night - I always check them religiously morning and night. He wasn't ridden yesterday and spent the day pottering round the field.

Took him for a walk this morning and swelling went down although started to fill again a bit when he was tied up whilst I was faffing around.

On closer inspection he had a tiny, tiny bit half way down inside leg which he'd obviously scraped. Tiny as in the end of a pencil sized mark (was struggling there to find something to compare it too!!).

I'm thinking he bashed his leg when rolling in his stable and not to think he's done a leg again. He is 100% sound and doesn't snatch leg away when putting pressure along the tendon when I've got his leg up. I cold hosed, put arnica cream on and turned him out in a tiny paddock. Thought about giving him some arnica tablets but can't remember how many human ones you are supposed to give horses. Any ideas?!!
