big plaits/small plaits?

I am taking the horse I am trying to sell to dressage on sunday, he has a very long thin neck (he is a lanky tb)
is it best to use small plaits for his mane or larger ones?

I tend to use bigger plaits for Arch, coz he has a small neck.

I would say medium, around 11, not more than 13 or 15. We do 9 high round ones in my mates TB x who has a fine neck and it does seem to make his neck seem fuller.

i'd do medium sized, quite spaced out for the first 5 or so, to make him look more arched in the neck. hope that makes sense.

Big plaits as it is quicker to do....

Big plaits make the neck look better, bigger ones near the middle!
