I'm currently trying to find a saddle for my very hard to fit pony. She's 14hh and very compact like a mini sports horse. She's quite chunky but has high withers which is making a saddle quite hard to find. She can take up to 17" comfortably and her riders legs are quite long so we are needing one around this size but most of the ones we are looking at, the saddle flaps just seem to dwarf her as they are made for much bigger horses. We are trying GP's, VSD's, WH's and jumping saddles. Anything that fits would be fine really. We just want it to look neat and tidy. Does anyone have any recommendations of any saddles that might be right or a good saddlers that might cater for funny shaped ponies? Thank you!!
