i have a mint green one with skye on it in white letters. would i be allowed to wear this or would i get marked down or something?

If it is run by your local Pony Club they make take exception to it - many PCs state that brightly coloured numnahs/saddlecloths with lettering/piping are unacceptable. Different branches implement the rule in different ways - some may ask you to wear a plain one in future, whereas others may ask you to remove it! Doesn't have to be white though - plain colours like black or brown are acceptable - could you borrow one from a friend? Otherwise ring the secretary and check what the guidelines are.
