Big shoulders and long legs - yin yang from heritage

The horse's shoulders and my legs that is. Absolutely love my Townsend event saddle (same as a Kentaur performer) but its not working for my horse now.

Has anyone tried one of these? It would be the monoflap (I think it is a monoflap anyway) one I'd be wanting.

It looks very blocky for someone with long legs...

Reg is similarly shaped, with huge shoulders, and his Albion Legend sits well on him and Al can go as jockey-short as she likes as it is almost block-free.

I thought it looked less blocky than mine (which I love and is perfect for my legs I think). The issue kind of is my "horse" is 14hh and I am 5ft8.

I wouldn't bother ... Main reason being they have little resale value if not right for your horse and tbh the company wasn't the easiest to deal with.

Look at an Ideal Impala as will do the same job and can be found 2nd hand.

I'm 5ft8 too, with 34" inside leg. My ponies are 13.1h and 14h, I have a Barnsby Milton on the smallest one and a Prestige Paris D on the bigger one - I find them perfect.

I think for that much money I would buy a 'name' saddle 2nd hand. At least you can sell it if you don't get on with it.
