Afternoon guys- not I've only been living in essex since Sept last year (was in Devon before that) so I dont know which are the 'big' shows to go to round here. Preferably showing shows ie big RC type or County Level is good. I have a new aquisition I would like to do in-hand stuff with this year.
Thanks in Advance

I have a TB mare to do large Hack classes and a arab x 3 year old (although will be four in July) who is incredibly well bred and put together to do in hand partbred arab/riding pony classes etc but when hes working nicely I would like to do small hack.Intermediates/PBA ridden with him- hes already been placed highly at county level as a 2 year old with previous owner so I have high hopes for him hence wanting bigger shows

I am in the Essex/Herts border can get transport for local thingsd but will need to hire something for longer distance stuff.

Orsett is quite big, has a few qualifiers.

As above, South Suffolk.

What classes would the new acquisition be doing? Does the relevant society not have a list of dates?

Execellent info- I think Suffolk will be too early for us, as he arrives in 2 weeks so I will hardly have got to know him before the show. But thanks guys- I'm going to save this post so I can refer back- hopefully you may see us out and about this year!

Hi, if you're looking to take the new acquisition out to a purely in-hand show to give yourself and the new one some experience together, then we are holding the Newmarket Shows in July and August where every one of our judges is a top panel judge, so this might be ideal for you to start your competitive career off together. There will be one ring purely for TB's and the other ring will cater for all others - including a class for Arabs. You would be guaranteed of getting a County judge on both of the dates. If you want further information, do feel free to PM me. Schedules will be out in a couple of weeks time. They are both charity shows with lots on offer on both the days.
