Big thanks to everyone that gave me bitting advice for my boy, I changed his bit to a loose ring snaffle with a lozenge peice in the middle. Went to a dressage comp yesterday (having tried it before hand) and he went like a dream, the best I've ever had him, and we were placed in our novice test, and I think that that bit made all the difference!
