After such a ***** week have had a ball today

me (Pidge) and sis Chris (Sunny) met up with Lisa and the lovely May at Somerford Park to go round the farm ride. It was fab

£14 worth every penny. Didn't do all the fences as I am a woos but I did do the steps in and out of the water, 4 steps down and 3 steps up at trot/canter

chicken feeders, lots of tyre fences and plenty of others. Lisa did more than me and Chris as she is a lot braver than us!

Had an absolute ball and can't wait now for the HHO do on 8th May. All the horses thoroughly enjoyed themselves and lets just say that even if I can't sort out my personal life at least I can sort out Pidge's - him and May seem quite attached to each other

Oh and just to prove how blonde I am I had to get a nice chappie with his tractor to jump start us as it was foggy when we got there and some blonde idiot (me!) had left the lorry lights on

Sounds like you had a great day. I'm gutted that I couldn't make the farm ride in May (potential horse maybe not actually working out and fact that I'm working at school prevented it

) If you have another one in the 6 week school holidays I would be up for it though, I loved to meet some HHOers! Glad you had fun today.
 
Thanks Sue! I've just got in from work - knackered. Hope Madam May is just as tired!! She certainly fell in love with Pidge! What a fab day we had for it too. You and Chris did fab over the fences, bet you will be jumping more of them next time! x
 
WeeBrown, sorry you can't make the 8th May but oh yes will definately be going again and have some time off over the summer hols so will have to arrange another definate date - I'm hooked

After the pants week it was just what the Doc ordered and Lisa was very good with me and Sis as it was our first time over XC fences

Hi Lisa, snap did the horses and the lorry and then went for a meal with a friend and then slept from 10pm straight through till 7am which for me is really good as normally I don't sleep well! Am so looking forward to the one in May as I know I will jump more now I've had a taster

we did walk over a couple as Pidge is so big and I was look oooh scary but then went back and jumped them properly so am definately hooked
