My dog had this with both her top canines, baby ones were solid too not shaky. Vet told me to give her a Jumbone (other chews are available ) and it worked, baby teeth came out. It was her one and only Jumbone though, made her a bit sick
mine had this, and I was taking him to a show for the first time. In the morning I checked his teeth to make sure they were all clean and there were both sets of teeth, baby and adult canines. I got to the show, 2 hours later, the judge opened up his mouth to look at his teeth and no baby canines! Somehow they had come out in the 2 hours. Judge must have thought I was slightly deranged as i did a double look to check what I had seen.
My Jrt had this with one of her baby teeth and the canine coming in next to it - it stayed until about 2yrs ago when it finally fell out - she's 14yrs old!
I've managed to keep some teeth from all our pups, however these ones are being stubborn, and I bet they swallow them just to annoy me.
Pagan has lost 2 incisors, and the adult ones are coming through, but all their baby canines are still firmly rooted! I keep checking
