So terrifying this boy is that we put a friends 11 yr old beginner rider son on him today..... lol

Walk, Trot and Canter was all pretty good, even the unintentional dismount (which was a result of losing a stirrup, leaning over to one side, grabbing the edge of the round yard then falling down between the gap while Roc stood there looking embarrassed about the whole thing.... lol)......

Just gotta work on getting his heels under his hip and his hands down and the kid is in not too bad a shape for a kid who hardly gets on a horse at all.

Will give him a little lesson on our Appy gelding in the morning and then he and hubby are going out around town for a ride.

Anyhow, here are some pics of Brody on Roc On - a Perlino QH stallion.... who really should have had a bath before photos were taken! lol...........

Thanks :)

Oh, and for those of you who dont recognise it (Im not sure how familiar you are with aussie tack), the bridle Roc has on is an Australian Stock Bridle..... it fits everything from ponies to WBs - the cheek pieces are totally adjustable as they loop around from the bit to the ring on the headpiece.

The only thing that makes them a 'fit problem' for little ponies and huge fat headed horses is the width of the browband.... but honestly, other than the mini and the pure clydesdale with a massively fat head, the same bridle fits the lot! Just change the bit to the right size and it will get you out of trouble in just about all cases!! :)
