Bilateral lameness

I am guessing not, on the basis my mare is/was bilaterally lame in front, and only the worst leg showed up at all until she was blocked and then the other leg showed up.

my horses didnt. had a vet out because inoticed a difference in him and he thought i was seeing phantom lameness. wasnt untill one leg improved that there was any visible lameness. get him nerve blocked only way to get a difinitive answer. see my post a few below this about my horse that i thought had narvicular.

No the whole problem with diagnosing bilateral lameness if often it doesn't become apparent until one leg is blocked. Jesper was bilaterally lame and yet looked sound to a bystander but didn't feel right to me. When one foot was nerve blocked it was suddenly obvious how much his stride had been compromised.

Damn, means I might have to go for full work up then. Is navicular syndrome classed as arthritis related as I am excluded for this on my insurance. Know lad has navicular but dont know how painful as both feet involved
