Normally just ride in normal rubber grip reins, but still having to splint my ring finger for riding following plating and bone graft so using alternative fingers for riding and realised how bulky the reins are! So looking to get some new slimmer ones but that still have good grip. Can anyone recommend which of these would be better? Are they both similar with just the bio grip having pimples being the difference?

Thanks in advance

*oh - and should read *eventa* reins, typo!

Eventa grip are thicker than bio grip. Personally I like bio for schooling as the feel is better. Loved my eventa grip for fast work

I have biogrip for all my bridles and can't fault them. I don't like chunky reins, and I love that they're so pliable too, they just mould to your hands. I hardly grip the reins at all, yet have full control and rarely lose a rein.

Eta - just realised which eventa reins are - they're just similar to normal rubber grip reins are they not. But smooth rather than bobbly?

I loved my bio grip reins but as they are very flexible on several occasions they have 'flipped up' and wrapped around my hands when my horse has been particularly lively. I've had to go back to normal reins as I was so worried that im going to come off when the reins have caught around my hands!
