I had my heart set on getting my previous horse a Bioflow rug for his back at a time when he was having problems- but they were far to expensive too justify buying new (about £440!) and second hand ones were no where to be found.

That was over a year ago and I have regualrly kept my eye on ebay to see if any second hand ones came up. Finally spotted one last week- I don't desperately need one but stuck a lowish bid in anyway and won it, for a decent price too I think.

Sam can get stiff along his back and quarters and there is usually a bit of superficial tension etc when the physio comes for routine checks so I'm sure he will benefit (I do believe magnets make a difference, I know others don't)- but I can't seem to find any guidelines on it's use????

Anyone know, or know where I might find information on when best to use it and for how long etc?

I think you should only use them for a couple of hours to start with to detox the body and then start putting on for longer periods. They cannot be put on for more than 12 hours. I brought mine on Ebay and that is what the instructions said. I have noticed my mare does get quite hot so have to keep an eye on her in hot weather and not to keep it on too long.
