Given that the internet has now given me a lot of conflicting information (and I'm having a really blonde day

), would anyoe be able to tell me the biotic factors and te abiotic ones which affect populations. I've noe redone it about five times because everywhere is saying different things

hope this helps:

biotic - factors such as predators and disease (results from the activities of living organisms)

abiotic - (non-living part of an ecosystem) climatic factors (light, heat, water), edaphic factors (eg soil temp, ph, organic content etc) and topographic factors (e.g. angle and aspect of a slope)

i did have to check that though in one of my books for examples!!
