Biorb fish tanks - anyone got one for tropicals

Hi my parents have tropical fish and I want to start with them again. What does anyone think of these tanks. How easy are they to maintain? Any problems with them etc? Thanks

I am not a fan of them -- even the biggest model is really very small unless keeping a single betta or shrimp. Additionally, the shape of it means most fish can't get the most out of the limited space. The undergravel filter system is not ideal, they're impossible to work on (in terms of access), meaning that unless you have the skills to build a biotope that looks after itself (e.g. with shrimp), you will spend a lot of time getting it to look nice.

Thank you that's actually what the man in the shop said tonight, limited space so I bought a rectangular instead. Thanks again I see exactly what you mean.
